The streets of Melbourne and other cities around the world are littered with street art if you look closely enough - graffiti to some, social activism to others..

The site has links to the billboard liberation front and it's advertising manifesto which encourages "the masses to use any means possible to commandeer the existing media and to alter it to their own design.". There is a wealth of articles based on culture jamming as well as examples of grafitti activism from 'shutup & shop'.

Three great acts donate their talent for a great cause at Sydney's top live music venue, The Basement, on Sunday 20 July. All funds raised will go direct to help asylum seekers in Australia who are escaping religious or political persecution.
