Online learning is the way of the future for educational institutions. MIT has initiated it's OpenCourseWare site @ http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html, citing online classes in various schools such as arts, engineering, business and many more. The official launch began in September 2003 after a successful pilot which began in September 2002. By 2007, MIT hopes to have all of it's courses available online.

This Sunday the 7th of September, Bleu Solstice presents the next installment of DEEPER - Sydneys newest & deepest series of house music events. Think deep, then think deeper. In this creative cross disciplinary workshop participants will develop narrative concepts for ITV in teams. The workshop will be accompanied by introductionary lectures on different types of programming for iTV as well as iTV technologies. The main aim is to explore the potential for interactive, participatory TV programming based on storytelling.

Their work of the past five years at venues such as Offsite has earned them a unique reputation.

HOWLfest is FIVE days of live Music performed by women, Workshops facilitated by women, and Films, Theatre, Dance, Spoken word and Art written, performed and/or produced by women. HOWLfest aims to promote women who create original, independent work. This funky festy takes place in the coastal city of Newcastle NSW 28 Jan - 1 Feb 2004.
