Phil Evans, a promising young 20-year-old saxophonist from QUT was brutally attacked in his Herston home on Monday 21st July 2003, leaving him without the use of his fingers. As a result it's doubtful he will ever play his saxophone again. His friends from QUT have joined forces with other local Brisbane musicians to create an evening of music to help Phil, both financially and to build morale in his time of need.
