thanks for dropping by the [briz:b:e:a:t:s] internet radio show page. here you will be able to read about guests / featured artists on the show. [briz:b:e:a:t:s] was on-air for over four years, from early 2000 - mid 2004. the aim of the show was to showcase some of Australia's talented electronic music artists and DJs.

originally I broadcast the show from Brisbane, Australia but in mid-2001 I relocated to Sydney so the show then became Sydney based. whilst in Brisbane there were many live performances on the show and it was also broadcast from a few of the warehouse parties / club gigs.

[briz:b:e:a:t:s][29:05:04] Shame File Music experimental show

Shame File Music is an Australian label and distributor of experimental, ambient, noise and post rock music with artists including Undecisive God, Scott Sinclair, Lawrence English, Nat Evans, Dr Alien Smith, The Hi-God People and many, many more. The music on the releases ranges from hauntingly beautiful through to harsh eye-squinting sounds, and many of the albums are created as a project or have an underlying theme which the artist is exploring through music. Recorded live performances also are a feature of the label, and if you are after something to read whilst listening, they also offer a selection of zines. This is about as underground as it gets, so those who are open to new and different sounds should enjoy the selection.

Shame File Music specialises in Australian Experimental music and also has a radio program featuring new sound art from around Australia
