The WomenSpeak Network is currently working on a research project called 'Young Women's Recruitment, Retention and Leadership: lessons learned from the women's movement.' The overall aim of the policy research is to establish broadly young women's involvement and perceptions of their involvement in women's organisations; to find out whether organisations are actively involved in the recruitment, retention and promotion of young women's into leadership positions; in line with the goals of the WomenSpeak Network reflect on how effective young women's participation, networking and diversity is within the organisations. ABC2 recognises video art as a dynamic art form and Australia as a leader in new media arts. Our role as a national broadcaster enables us to showcase this to a diverse audience. Cyclic Defrost Magazine is compiling a CD of independent Australian electronic music, avant rock, experimental sound and oddball local hip hop. It will be released in June between issue 11 (end April) & 12 (August). The CD will be made available for FREE at the following European festivals - Sonar 2005 (Barcelona, Spain), Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria) and Popkomm (Berlin, Germany).
