PLUCK TV broadcasts nightly @ 5.30pm on C31 MELBOURNE. The program is an
innovative and hands on training ground for young people interested in
learning about television.

More importantly, the program is about trying new ideas which could
potentially become stand alone shows - away from the Pluck system.

As part of our training system, we have regular 'call outs' for new
producers. We constantly change our programs (every eight weeks) and this
means we are always looking for new ideas and new people who are ready to
undertake the huge challenge of producing 8 live half hour live television
episodes.

ABOUT PLUCK:

The show is made entirely by people under 25 and is aimed at 11-19 year
olds. PLUCK is the training ground for Melbourne youth in television
production and a platform for their art, opinions, short films, vox pops,
animations and whatever else Melbourne youth want on their TV. It is a
space on television specifically reserved for young people; the content is
necessarily diverse and must work hard to constantly renew itself to stay
fresh and relevant.

PLUCK is produced on a rotating basis by five different teams over a
two-month period. A different team will produce each day; they will be
assigned 8 shows to produce over that period. For each two-month period all
spots will be up for tender again. Current producers are more than welcome
to apply for their day if they want to keep going, but they must demonstrate
that they are willing to train up other people and that they are still
learning and evolving on PLUCK.

WE WANT YOU AND YOUR IDEAS -

Do you think you have what it takes - to make great TV? Can you handle the
stress, glory and pain, of producing live television?

If you are interested - take a look at our submission forms and feel free to
give me a call on 9925 9638 to discuss your ideas further.

This is the best way to get your ideas on TV and to get real jobs in the
industry..
