The Artists Alliance Internship Programme 2011 is now calling for applications from recent graduates for a fixed term, paid internship with the Audio Foundation. The aim of the programme is to provide a valuable opportunity for graduates to obtain significant work experience in the art industry. The programme has been made possible with generous funding from the ASB Community Trust.
Eligibility
For the purposes of this pilot internship programme those eligible to apply will need to have graduated within the past three years (2008, 2009, 2010) from an Auckland tertiary institution that holds current Artists Alliance Membership. The following institutions are members of Artists Alliance:
o AUT University, School of Art and Design
o Elam School of Fine Arts
o UNITEC School of Design
o Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design

The Art Gallery of NSW offers internships to tertiary students. Short-term, unpaid placements are available in the following areas – public programs/education, curatorial/collections, exhibitions, research library and archive, registration, conservation, marketing and work within the Brett Whiteley Studio and Art Gallery Society.

The Program and triple j have joined forces and are calling across the country for all young folk, 25 and under, with some previous radio/ media experience, to join the J Arts Crew and become a paid part-time Arts Reporter! A reporter will be appointed from each State and Territory, to be mentored by a producer at triple j. PLUCK TV broadcasts nightly @ 5.30pm on C31 MELBOURNE. The show is made entirely by people under 25 and is aimed at 11-19 year olds. PLUCK is the training ground for Melbourne youth in television production and a platform for their art, opinions, short films, vox pops, animations and whatever else Melbourne youth want on their TV.
