Talkers of the month:<br />
Leigh Russell is a 3d computer animator. He will be talking about a current project: to send a camera into the stratosphere on a helium balloon and has built a computer controlled machine that fabricates his 3d models from materials like wood and foam.<br />

Gordon Monro will talk about his use of a Lego robotics kit to make an abstract art video.  He will play the video and describe the processes used to make it.<br />

Tim Boykett, who is part of a group based in Linz called Time’s Up, will speak about SPIN and about sensors; the big ball and about the tools they have used to get data into and out of the machines to know what is happening with it and with other stuff.<br />

All presentations should aim to be 20 minutes in duration. You are welcome to bring along whatever, the project itself or visual and audio documentation or both. Please bring as much as you can including resources e.g. Laptop, cables etc. Tell us what you are bringing beforehand so that we can accommodate you. If you are unsure as to wether your presentation is appropriate take a browse through dorkbot.org at what other people are showing around the world. Presentations are not supposed to be formal. We don't want your CV we want to know what you are making and how you did it. It is a great opportunity to get some quality peer review!<br />
