On Saturday August 2, the first ever BOTY AUST Compilation CD was launched at HMV Parramatta. DJ Nick Toth threw down the beats for Nervous Breakdown, who performed in the store for the crowd. The album will be in all stores Monday August 4, and will also be on sale at the BOTY AUST event on the 9th. the album is packed with old school bboy anthems and new school breaks, and also features tracks from three Aussie outfits - Cropper, Idiot Proof and 1200 Techniques. Battle Of The Year Party Week
Well it's finally here...BOTY is happening this weekend (9th) at the State
Sports Centre at Homebush Bay. 7 HOURS of breaking, jamming, beatboxing,
battling, DJing and MCing. Its a dry event - of alcohol or drugs, so all
ages can attend. Doors open at 4.30pm and the event will finish about
11.30pm. Tickets through Ticketek, Next Level and Central Station Records,
or on the door, if they are not sold out beforehand. Transport is pretty
easy - ample parking at the site or the train to Homebush Bay from Central,
Strathfield or Lidcombe stations will get you there and home easily.
