________________________________

What our students from 2004 have said about the Diploma course...

"For the last two years i have been engaged in the Diploma in Community
Cultural Development on-line course offered by CCDNSW.

I found the Course content relevant and challenging and thouraghly
enjoyed it, the diploma has not only broadened my understanding of CCD
practice
but has also broadened my career prospects.

the modules are practical and cover the essentials as well as allow you
to 'think outside the square' of conventional community development
work,
it opens a door to creative alternatives to engage young people, groups,
and people of all walks of life and gives CALD communities in particular
access
to develop and execute projects based on their own needs analysis.

This course is ideal for someone new to the field and equally as good
for those who wish to further their proffesional development.

In a country as culturally dynamic and unique as Australia, Community
Cultural Development is our future."

Thomas Scire
Youth Arts and CCD Worker

--

"CCD Online Diploma is an excellent way to learn more about your own
community and everyone else's."

Christine Judd
Cultural Development & Events
Port Stephens Council

--

"Validate the CDD skills you've gained over the years... or learn some
new ones! With CCDNSW's Online Diploma you can work at your own pace to
achieve an accredited qualification to give you that edge in today's
competitive job market.

Delivery via the net is a perfect solution for those of us with
'interesting' work hours, and the course content is stimulating and
relevant to artsworkers and anyone working in associated fields."

Lisa Irving
Artsworker, Shellharbour NSW

--

"I thoroughly enjoyed the flexibility of completing the CCD Diploma
online. The online format allows students the freedom to make comments
that they perhaps would not otherwise feel comfortable in making. I
found the content of the course to be comprehensive, interesting and
extremely relevent to my employment in Local Government."

Carol Roberts
Administration Officer Cultural Services

--

"The CCDNSW online diploma is a great 'how to ccd' resource.

It covers all the basics of community development, how to fund and
resource your project from diverse funding sources, to marketing your
project.

It is mostly useful for its great approach to the differing discourses
around ccd, the different methods of community and leadership capacity
Building, and the diversity of theories in practical application.

The fact that it can be done in your own time on the net means that it's
totally accessible. This factor also makes it excellent as a networking
tool in itself.

I highly recomend this course not only for young artsworkers but also
for people that need to update their skills for the current context."

Peter Polites
Multicultural Artsworker Intern
